I must be missing something. First time using excel template. I saved off the template as .mht in a folder under the app path. I run fex to test and everything works fine. When I run through report caster I get this error in the log - TEMPLATE FILE: Error opening file? using this pchold -
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K TEMPLATE 'xx_template_test' SHEETNUMBER 6
Anyone have this issue? ThanksThis message has been edited. Last edited by: <Kathryn Henning>,
No Macro. Maybe I'm confused how to go about and start the proceess. ALl I did was saved off a .mht excel workbook to the app. Then I was going to have the fex feed the data sheet.
I still think you will have to save the .mht file with at least 2 sheets and sheet 2 will have to have some data, i.e. a blank in cell A1.
You may still need to use Excel 2003 to do this. I don't know if the format of the .mht files in Excel 2003 and 2007 and higher are the same. I do know that they are not the same size.
