[CLOSED] creating an MFD from external SQL Procedures
Hello everyone,

I want to create an MFD using an oracle procedure (which has some functions defined). When I go to the Data Servers and select the option External SQL Procedures to create the MFD, I do not see my oracle procedure and am unable to browse to the location where my procedure is.

Can someone let me know how to create an MFD using external SQL Procedurs. A link to a manual will be greatly helful.

Thanks,
Sumant

Sumant,

It has been a while since I have done this, but I believe you need to open up the Reporting Server Console.

Click on the ADAPTERS tab.
If your Oracle adapter is configured, you just need to then right click on the adapter and select "Create Synonym".

There should be a list of tables or you should be able to select a "stored procedure" (which I'm guessing you are call "external")

Hope this helps.
