Hi All,
We are creating process of inserting bulk of users into report caster repository using the insert statement of tables BOTUPROF & BOTGUSER and we are using external security mechanism for user authentication.

whenever I do insert in RC tables corresponding user is not reflected in MRE(USER.HTM) but when I add user through report caster administrator (ibi_apps/mradmin)interface particular user is reflecting in user.htm file.

do we have any mechanism to update the MRE user when we manually insert the record in RC tables

To be in Brief basically I want to know is it possible to insert a MRE user (user.htm)for FEX rather than inserting via MRE Admin console.

I will be Pleased if you provied some hint on this

Hi Krish,

Per our technicals: As far as WebFOCUS security is concerned, ReportCaster and MRE userids are linked. The mechanism we have in place is to use the GUI or the RC API.
