I am trying to style a report using small caps and I can't seem to find a place in the GUI or code for small caps in a report. I can easily style an html with small caps, but I can't seem to style the report. I have looked online/in the documentation and can't seem to find what they "key word" is. In normal html the key word would be font-variant.. anyone happen to know the key word in WebFOCUS?

Thanks in advance!

Small caps is not an option in WebFOCUS. The only way to do that is via CSS. For HTML reports ONLY, you can assign a class to a specific report component and then assign a stylesheet file using SET CSSURL, or include the CSS directly in the fex.

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
SALES
BY COUNTRY
HEADING
"This is the heading"

ON TABLE HOLD AS H001A FORMAT HTMTABLE

ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=HEADING, CLASS=smallCaps, $
END
-RUN

-HTMLFORM BEGIN
<style>
.smallCaps {
    font-variant: small-caps;
}
</style>
!IBI.FIL.H001A;
-HTMLFORM END

You could use a CSS file and code your own styling.
In your WebFOCUS code add a CSSURL in the styling and do away with the WebFOCUS styling.

-* File smallcaps.fex
DEFINE FILE CAR
LCOUNTRY/A10=LCWORD(10, COUNTRY, 'A10');
LCAR/A16=LCWORD(16, CAR, 'A16');
LMODEL/A20=LCWORD(20,MODEL,'A20');
END

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
LCOUNTRY
LCAR
LMODEL
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
CSSURL='http://localhost:8080/approot/focalpoint/smallcaps.css', $
TYPE=DATA, CLASS=small, $
ENDSTYLE
END

In smallcaps.css:
.small {font-variant: small-caps; }
