How do we capture the result of a MODIFY operation? Just like we have '&RECORDS' variable for capturing the number of records inserted in to a hold file or a table request, is there any similar way of capturing the number of records inserted, updated after a MODIFY operation?

CD,

I'm sure that I've posted something like this before but cannot locate the post.

However, the variables that are specific to MODIFY are -

&ACCEPTS
&CHNGD
&DELTD
&DUPLS
&INPUT
&INVALID
&NOMATCH
&REJECTS
&TRANS

The variable names are fairly meaningful so you should be able to identify their use.
