I am working with (Active Report Flash/Flex) or FLEX Report Output. I'm new to this output and I'm having trouble using an IMAGE with it. Here is a sample FEX with the IMAGE at the Report level. It works fine in HTML and PDF, I can resize and position the IMAGE where I want to. But if I switch to FLEX output, the IMAGE disapears. If I change the style tag to, TYPE=HEADING, it will appear but it is always CENTER justified and it ignores any change to POSITION= or SIZE=. Anyone had any luck with this kind of thing?

My experience is similar to yours.
Found the following reference in the Best Practices WebFOCUS Special Newsletter dated May 2009, interesting:

Embedding Images
In a disconnected mode, images are rendered in the browser and, therefore, have to be
converted to JavaScript images at design time. Any JPEG images that are inserted in the
report will be converted automatically to JavaScript images.
Note: The recommended image size is 200x200 pixels. Larger images will increase the
time required for the conversion and the loading of the report in the browser.

Have not found any explicit documentation regarding the embedding of images in active / flex reports.
