How to set the selected value property for dropdownlist in HTML layout painter

Hi,
I've a dropdownlist in my html page.
I need to set the selected value of the dropdownlist dynamically.
In the layout bar, for dropdownlist, i'm not finding any property to achieve this.

Please suggest me is there any way to set the selected value.

Has this issue been resolved on your site? Did Kamesh's suggestion help you?

I am not very sure regarding "set the selected value of the dropdown list dynamically", can you please provide a bit more contents on what you are trying to accomplish here?

Here is a general guide for Creating Dynamic or Static HTML Dropdown Lists for &Variables using -PROMPT-type input.
