[SOLVED] change in drop down to refresh report

I'm trying to have a drop down list refresh report based on the change in that control. On the HTML composer, I set the drop down control's onchange event to the OnExecute(ctrl) function..what else am I doing wrong..Any help would be much appreciated..thanks!

If you are at release 769 or higher, there is no need to do that. You can switch to the Parameters tab and then drag the report container out from the thumbnail view and drop it on the canvas, then draw a binding line from the dropdown control to the report. This will make it that anytime the value in the dropdown changes, the report will re-execute.
