gregv'File > Save As' dialogue
Hi: I have a request from a customer to click on a link, retrieve a PDF or Excel WF 7.1 output file from the Reporting Server and bring up the MSIE standard 'File > Save As' dialogue box to save the file locally without actually opening the file.
Does anyone have experience with this or know where to start to look?
Thanks.

MikelYou can right-click on the file’s hyperlink and select ‘Save Target As’. Then save the document in the directory of your choice.

gregvThanks, Mikel. This is a good suggestion.
Do you know of a way to bypass the 'Save Target As' and go directly to the next screen where the location is chosen, with the right click?

MikelTry:
Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > File Types tab > PDF (Adobe Acrobat Document) > Advanced > Check "Confirm before download and open"
