EDKHow to drill down from one EXCEL spreadsheet to another EXCEL spreadsheet
My users want to drill down from one spreadsheet to the detail in another spreadsheet. How can this be done and not get the error: "A document with the name 'ibiweb.exe' is already open"?

KerryHi EDK,
Has this issue regarding
drilldown in EXCEL been resolved? Did link suggested by codemonkey help you?
I ran some search on Information Builders' online documents as well as old Focal Point posts and came across the following topics which may be of interest:

What release of WebFOCUS is in use? CGI or Servlet? Does the drilldown work fine in PDF and/or HTML? Please provide as much details as possible.
Thanks in advance for sharing, and hope this helps.

S.J. KadishWe have a new twist on this older issue:
1.) The Excel drilldown from summary to details works great in the MRE and DevStudio.
2.) However, when the focexec is selected from our BI Dashboard the drilldown does not work.
3.) Based on some InfoResponse informaton we have tried variations on these FOCEXURLS
SET FOCEXURL=http://localhost/ibi_apps/WFServlet
SET FOCEXURL=http://ourcoservername.ourcomp.com:28500/ibi_apps/WFServlet (company named not appearing; portal number does appear)
Variations: single quotes, semi-colon at the end
We are getting an HTML error message: "Unable to open" + server name + various &variables for drilldown + fex
4.) It gets more interesting - the drilldown works fine from AHTML.
Side bar item for Kerry:
In your last response to this item you included this link. The link is no longer out there in InfoResponse.
