Hi, We are planning to go for permanent HOLD file(FOCUS FILE) rather than hitting DB for our Portal dashboard. But before doing this I want to understand the performance issues for Concurrent users and will be there any impact of HOLD files getting corruption? We don't have write access to hold files.
Alos please suggest if there are any considerations for the better performance. This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Kathryn Henning>,

In the PDF is a 3 part series called WebFOCUS 8 Performance. It was presented by Mark Nesson again this year and I was able to attend. The session shows you how to run scalability tests so that you can see how your hold file does when hitting it with different amounts of users.
