Hi,

I have to read data from .xls files, located on a SharePoint site (like: https://abc.com/dept/FM%20Reports/Forms/AllItems.aspx) and load that data into MS Access database.

I am aware to read data from .xls file from localhost, but I am unable to do same with SharePoint site.

Please suggests me, how can I read data from SharePoint site? Is there any adapter available for SharePoint, so that I can make connection between WebFocus and SharePoint directly? Please guide me here.

Hi Sandy

There is not a Sharepoint adapter and I have heard of people using the Web Services adapter to read sharepoint lists but I am not aware of anything that can read a xls file stored on sharepoint. It would probably need to be stored on a shared drive where the WebFOCUS reporting server can access it.

You should probably contact techsupport and get an official answer.
