I figured it out. I should have had

AGE_IN_DAYS/I5 = BEGIN_DATE - BIRTH_DT;

instead of

AGE_IN_DAYS/I5 = BEGIN_DATE - BIRTH_DATE;

Once I posted it. I saw the error immediately.
