Hello, We would like to give permission to create synonym option to users from INFO Assist tool. We have SQL database we would like "Users can create their own table and allow the user to create a synonym from their table. I know usually Administrators or developer create the metadata or synonym for the info assist users. is it possible allow the info assist users to create synonym. I appreciate any help on this issue.

The 2 word answer is "it depends". How much control are you willing to give your InfoAssist users?
Anyways, I suggest you reach out to IB tech support because this might require some deep thoughts about the Role you assign to IA users and comes with many unintended consequences such as deciding how to prevent them from over writing existing synonyms and/or the visibility of DBA in existing synonyms, creation of duplicate metadata with different sources, et cetera.

Not sure if you are aware you can give info assist users the ability to upload data and load into SQL Server and that process creates synonyms for them to report against. Not sure what your use case is but wanted to let you know about that option as well.
