I am trying to display the '<' symbol in a report header [without the single quotes).

I keep getting prompted for the calue of

Does anyone do this?

I have not been on this forum for some time, so I may have forgotten how to post text so it is properly displayed. Anyway Francis, when I try your suggestion I get the GT symbol with an '&' in front of it and a ';' behind it. I am trying to display the actual gt symbol.

Let's straighten things out!

The thread subject says you want a comma symbol. Your first post says you want a less-than symbol. Your last post says you want a greater-than symbol.

My example for a less-than symbol works for HTML in Windows.

For a greater-than symbol, this works in Windows and probably for all output formats:

SUM 
SALES
BY COUNTRY
HEADING
"> WEBFOCUS REPORT"
END
