This is typically related to changing a master file for a FOCUS, i.e. adding a FIELDTYPE=I, without rebuilding the file.

It could also be that there is a second master file that has the same name somewhere on the system but with a slightly different content. To check if you're using the intended master file issue the statement WHENCE xxxx MASTER (where xxxx is the name of the master file you're using). The result of this command will be the physical path where the master file is found.
