I did something incorrect in Dev Studio and when I clicked on the undo function it seemed to remove the error. However, it left the characters 'REE' in the upper left-hand corner and there was no way to select them for removal. So I went into the source code, found them (between two fieldsets) and removed them.
Now I can no longer use the composer. It hangs, consumes the entire processor and clicks incessantly. It appears to be caught in an endless loop.
I can blow away Focshell and start again, but my six hours of work are being held hostage -- coming back in results in the same condition.
Anyone have any recommendations?

If you have not saved it, then you may have lost it.
If the fex is running, you can check the fex to see if it has been saved, or have a look in the edatemp directory structure, and see if there is a copy of the fex there.
I made a copy of the file and started removing things until it stopped happening. It was the iframes that were causing the issue. I was able to keep the remainder of the screen which was the harder part to recreate.
Thanks for replying.
