This isn't the answer you are looking for, but, don't the pieces detach when you hover over them?

The do somewhat but this piece is only .26% of my total sales. The pie piece is to small to click on to then either use it for a drill down or the click on and make changes on other graphs.

Your describing a problem that applies pie charts in general. I myself never use them as I consider them pretty much useless. You should consider using a (horizontal) bar chart instead.

Same problem the bar is so small that you can hover over it put you can not click on it. The cursor changes to a up and down arrow to resize the graph but I still can not click on the bar. I have to zoom in to 400% in order to click on it.

Again, I may not be helping, but if you add a "Summary Sheet" object to the screen, then you can show the numbers as a report, and still have it linked with all the other objects on the screen. The summary sheet does allow you to either lasso or simple selects of data, therefore allowing you to isolate even the smallest bars or slices.
