Author Topic: How to solve -911 abend in db2 Posted March 23, 2007 08:54 AM Raghuraman K Hi i got the '-911' error in my cobol db2 program. How to solve this abend Raghuraman K
Could not view the original post, the code indicates a DB2 deadlock. In our DB2 world. So should be the same for a COBOL program. The deadlock occurs when two units of work want the same data and one gets it first and locks it in simple terms. Of course this is a FOCUS forum, don't know if a COBOL question is normally answered here.
