Sujeet,

If you haven't already, check out the latest WebFOCUS Web Services manual. WebFOCUS Web Services does require a license to use, but if you are licensed for it then you can easily generate a WSDL to consume in your J2EE application which will allow you to communicate with WebFOCUS.

There is a WebFOCUS Java API. You can consume WebFOCUS reports etc. directly from your J2EE application without having to use web services. The doc is available on the techsupport site, and includes all necessary sample code.

Hi sush,

Has this issue been resolved?

The following manual on WebFOCUS APIs may be of interest:

WebFOCUS API Developer's Reference 7.1
Check Chapter 3 for API samples.

Hope this helps. Big Grin

Cheers,

Kerry

Kerry :
The reference you posted to the WF71-API sure helped to learn about calling WF code from JSPs. Only one problem though, we are at 5.2.6 (use WFServlet).

I reseached thru the Documentation pages, but could not find anything called the WF52-API. I have sent an email to doc-services about this too.

Please advise if this feature is a possibility for our version.

Thx so much,
Sandeep Mamidenna.
