After recently upgrading my Dev Studio to 7.6.11 (local install) I notice that my calender controls are missing the little calendar icon to the right (the one you click for the calendar popup).

I've created a brand new page with just 2 calendar controls and still don't see them. Is this a new 'feature' or am I doing something wrong?

I have found my issue. It boils down to editing an HTM file in 7.6.11 Dev Studio and trying to run it on a 7.6.8 server. It seems the 7.6.11 release significantly changes the HTML it renders between the versions.

Calendar control just doesn't work in 7611 Dev Studio. It couldn't handle dates with 2-digit month/day.

I finally got around to testing this in 7611, Hua, and you seem to be correct. Have you opened a case on this yet?

I am using CENTORD to test and ORDER_DATE is a YYMD format field. I get a FOC006 THE FORMAT OF THE TEST VALUE IS INCONSISTENT WITH FIELD FORMAT. Is that what you get?

I will do further testing. I am supposed to go production on Tuesday. This could be a show stopper.

Let me know if you have any more information to share.

Ginny,

I had the case 60772546 resolved. But I haven't applied the fix yet.

Also watch for your PDF outputs. They might look different than you expected. I couldn't tell you which keywords they enhanced. What I did was to reformat them.

I installed 7.6.11 HF2 and it did correct the calendar control issue wherein it did not work for October, November, and December. It now works properly.

However, have you also noticed that the dates that originally arrived in the focexec with slashes in them no longer have slashes in them? Pages created in an old version of the HTML Composer, i.e. 7.6.5, still have the slashes.

Hua, could you please expound on your PDF comment? What do you mean by different? I've run a number of them and they seem fine to me. But since I have a large business developer community, I want to be able to give them a heads up. Any details would be most appreciated.

Ginny,

I did experience the inconsistency with the date separators, that user-entered date will return exactly as entered and calendar picked date return without separators. When I asked to upload the source to support the claim, somehow it was OK(or confused), so I dropped the case.

I have to strip the slashes and then inserted them back in the fex to ensure consistency.

Some of our existing PDF reports ran fine with old version, but got pannelled to the 2nd page. I have to refit the page width to single page.

IBI did recognize the problem.
