Hello,

I am trying to call a PL/SQL stored procedure in my fex by passing parameters ( which is user-input received from the HTML launch page of my report) to the stored proc, and the stored proc will return the result set in the form of a text variable (comma-delimited).

How can I display this result set in an excel spreadsheet?

Please explain exactly what you mean by that. An example would be helpful.

If you need to break down the comma-delimited list into its component values, look up the GETTOK() function.

I was looking for something where my stored procedure returns multiple columns of data within a text variable (comma delimited) and to display that as output in an excel spreadsheet.

Can I just simply use ON TABLE PCHOLD EXL07?

Try it, but I doubt that it will work since it's only one column (field) : meaning one string which contain comma but it remain a single string.

I also think that your best option as j.gross says is to use "look up the GETTOK() function" or have your SP changed to return multiple columns (fields).
