I have been successful in using &variables from fexes as variable text in Report Caster distribution subject lines, attachment names and in body message.
However, there are other times that I cannot get it to work. I cannot see anything different in my fex structures or schedules. Are there some general rules I should follow that I might be missing.

Just baffled here.
thanks all

BobV

For each task there is the ability to set values for the variables under the parameters tab but that is specific to each fex. Subject lines and attachment names need those variables to be set outside of ReportCaster like in a site profile or in the server profile so it is not clear which ones work sometimes and which ones don't.

Thank you for using Focal Point!
