Can WebFocus hit against a SAS database? I know that it can use DB2, Access, Oracle, etc. But i've never used it to access SAS table. Is that possible? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

Yes, but as iWay does not provide specific adapter support for SAS you'll just have to do it via generic ODBC/JDBC using the appropriate SAS/ODBC or SAS/JDBC drivers.
The configuration is a bit nightmare-ish but if you know exactly how your SAS configuration is setup it should be relatively "simple" to configure your JDBC connection string/parameters.
ODBC might be simpler to configure but if your WF Reporting Server runs on Unix then you're out of luck, unless you implement a JDBC-to-ODBC gateway there ...
Anyway, go through the SAS documentation about configuring those drivers.
It might help to try and connect directly to SAS from a generic JDBC client (i.e. DBVisualizer or SQuirreL) to test the different connection settings. Once you have it all figured out and tested, then you can go and configure your iWay adapter in the WF Web console. This message has been edited. Last edited by: njsden,
