When you build a report in dev studio, you get a table list applicable to your data server, however not all application folders on the server have their tables represented in the list.
How is the configuration done to determine which application folders are used to build the list, and there is an easy way for someone to check the configuration even if they don't have the access to create it?

The command APP SHOWPATH will display all the application directories defined to the application path.
The command ? PATH shows more detail of the same information.
My guess is that all the masters in all the app directories defined to the app path would be displayed in the Dev Studio table list, perhaps not sorted alphabetically.
These commands can be run from the Dev Studio Command Console.
