Well I am the webfocus ADMIN here and I know the client set up is done in web tier in a seperate server but the same is tough to recognize in application server tier.
Hi Waz, Thanks for the info. I do have access to the webFOCUS admin console and I have the below details. Basic Client Settings(Inside Configuration-->Client settings-->General) • APPROOT /opt/ibi/webfocus/products • IBI_DOCUMENT_ROOT /opt/ibi/WebFOCUS76 • CGI_TEMP_DIR /opt/ibi/webfocus/temp • IBI_BACKUP_DI /opt/ibi/webfocus/backup
Our Archetecture is a 3 tier archetecture 1) Web tier 2)Application Tier 3)Reporting Tier
Just did a search for '(Almost) 1001 Ways to Work With Dates for WebFOCUS' on Amazon, and lo and behold it is available there. It's just 10 bucks more expensive as when you buy it from IBI. Data from the IBI site: Title as above, Price: $25.00, DN: 9400251.1106, Page Count: 360 The book is worth every penny of the 25 $.
