[CLOSED] Overflow Issue in Two Page Coordinated PDF Report
I have a coordinated PDF report that I am developing in Composer. It is a two page layout that I can run for up to 10 ID numbers. Each ID produces a 2 page report (coordinated). It is pulling in a number of external reports. The very last report it is pulling in is on the bottom of the second page and there can be quite a bit of text being pulled into that report that it may need to overflow to a third page. So, right clicked on it and selected ‘Customize Fixed Overflow’ which created a new overflow page. However, when I run it, the overflow goes on to the second page of the next ID’s report. It does not appear on a third page for the current ID that has the overflow. I also tried, instead, setting the Size and Overflow to Flowing but that put the overflow on the second page the next ID as well and did not create a third page.

Is there a way to handle this overflow to create another page if needed in a coordinated report? I would just like to create a third page, when necessary, by ID, when the last report has more text than fits on the amount allotted on the second page.

Any suggestions? Thank you!!

i feel your pain...but i never use the composer
i do this in an app i have but its all managed in hand-written code. i measure the size (using ARGLEN function) of the TXT field that i'm going to wrap into a box, and i know how big it can be before it overflows. if i need to overflow, then i just uncomment some code in the PDF composer-driven fex and provides that third page,,, i set that comment field based on the ARGLEN. by default it starts as '-*' and if i need to uncomment that extra page, then ' ';
