I am performing the below inner join (cross-reference table has unique values as you can see whereas the host file has multiple) and finding that the report is displaying records that do not satisfy the inner join. The report is based off the host file (kdrv_projects).
JOIN INNER KDRV_PROJECTS.KDRV_PROJECTS.USER_DATA5 IN KDRV_PROJECTS TO UNIQUE FESCOPROJBU.SEG01.BU_CODE IN FESCOPROJBU AS PAPROJBUMA END JOIN INNER KDRV_PROJECTS.KDRV_PROJECTS.USER_DATA6 IN KDRV_PROJECTS TO UNIQUE KNTPROJBS.SEG01.BS_CODE IN KNTPROJBS AS PAPROJBSMA END
Sorry about that, I updated my profile per a similar request but didn't realize the information would be better served in the signature. I hope what I've provided is sufficient, if not I can add more. Thanks in advance for your help!
"UNIQUE returns only one instance and, if there is no matching instance in the cross-referenced file, it supplies default values (blank for alphanumeric fields and zero for numeric fields). . . . "ALL is a synonym for MULTIPLE, and omitting this parameter entirely is a synonym for UNIQUE."
