I created the OLAP report in Developer studio and MRE . From Developer studio and MRE, when i run the report it is working fine . Because it is assocaited with TOMCAT server .
But here i am using external Application server. In webfocus reporting server i put the following code . When i run the report from the application i am gettting lot of Java script errors . What are the settings i have to set in my Application server?
-OLAP ON -* File olap_car.fex OLAP DIMENSIONS -* DIMENSIONS FILE car CAR: CAR, MODEL; END
TABLE FILE CAR PRINT * ON TABLE HOLD END
TABLE FILE HOLD PRINT DEALER_COST HEIGHT BY CAR BY MODEL ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM OFF ON TABLE SET EXPANDABLE ON ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON ON TABLE SET OLAPPANE TOP ON TABLE SET STYLE * UNITS=IN, SQUEEZE=ON, ORIENTATION=PORTRAIT, $ TYPE=REPORT, GRID=OFF, FONT='ARIAL', SIZE=9, COLOR='BLACK', BACKCOLOR='NONE', STYLE=NORMAL, $ TYPE=TITLE, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=TABHEADING, SIZE=12, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=TABFOOTING, SIZE=12, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=HEADING, SIZE=12, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=FOOTING, SIZE=12, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=SUBHEAD, SIZE=10, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=SUBFOOT, SIZE=10, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=SUBTOTAL, BACKCOLOR=RGB(210 210 210), $ TYPE=ACROSSVALUE, SIZE=9, $ TYPE=ACROSSTITLE, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=GRANDTOTAL, BACKCOLOR=RGB(210 210 210), STYLE=BOLD, $ ENDSTYLE END
I guess I don't understand your question. When you say the APP servers are different are you talking about 2 different environments - test and Dev for example or do you have more than one WebFOCUS Client installed?
Running procedures DIRECTLY in the server console is not proper production deployment. Running fexs in that mode is a debugging facility for administrators. The olap facility (and many other facilities) are implemented with the WebFOCUS Java client. If you run the fex via the WFServlet, all should be ok.
