Does anyone know how to create/replace an outlook distribution list? I just got a request to create an outlook distribution list of all active users. This is almost 3000 users. Getting the email addresses is no problem. How can I create/replace this list? The list is to be replaced weekly.

I found that site using google and I didn't see anything that looked like what I wanted. But there is a lot of stuff there and I am going to take another look when I get back from vacation.
Thanks

Do you really mean outlook and not report caster? If so then you might have better response on the microshaft forums instead of here. Aslo check out MSDN.

Yes, I mean outlook. We have a need to notify our user base (2000-3000 people) of pending downtimes, application updates, etc. The problem is that the current outlook distribution list has people that are still with the agency (OK Dept of Human Services), but are no longer with the Child Welfare Division. Since the active users of our system is maintained by the application, they are wanting the ability to update/replace the outlook distribution list on a regular basis.

Typically, these lists are stored in AD. If you use the WebFOCUS LDAP Microsoft adaptor, then you can have a dynamic distribution list based on the group distinguished name.
