[CASE-OPENED] SalesForce to WebFOCUS single sign–on
Hi,

We have a SalesForce applications and WebFocus dashboards separately and we like to connect those. They can click the link in SalesForce to see the dashboard for that person.

Please let me know your suggestion and thoughts.

Thanks

Kamesh,

Webfocus report are runable via hyperlink. If your SalesForce application can make a http:-request then you're done. You can even add paramters to the URL.

I did that but it didn't work.

If I login my dashboard first and then launch salesforce and click the link it works. Because when I login to my dashboard it sets the cookie.

I need to find a way to set the cookie directly when I click the link from salesforce.

Kamesh,

I assumed your single-signon environment was working. We did have to the same problem, but not anymore.

I don't know who changed what, and it's some time ago. I'm not sure anyone remembers.

I guess someone on this forum might know where to start looking.

G'luck,
Dave
