Hello, I am using InfoAssist and trying to build a stacked bar chart. I would like the X-axis to display Months. The Y-axis is a count of Events. There are 10 different Event types, and I would like the vertical bar for each month to be broken into 10 parts, representing the number of a particular Event type for that month.

After reading about stacked bar charts, I think I need 10 different counts to add for each mohth. Is that the case? Of course I would prefer Count(Event_Type) BY Month BY Event_Type, where somehow I tell the "BY Event_Type" to break up the vertical bars.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

When you do your data selection set cross tab to yes and add you month to the X-axis section and the event to the series legend section
