Does anyone know how include a CSS file in an -HTMLFORM of a fex? the CSS file needs to be separated since the CSS file will be shared among other HTML pages and these HTML pages are hand-coded(Not by the Composer) and embedded into fexes.
I tried to save the CSS file as "css_file.css" and "css_file.sty" in the the "/ibi_html/javaassist" directory. After that, used the include line:
Place the css file on web server that WebFocus can access. Then use the full path to the CSS file. You might have to get with your Network/Web Server guy to achieve this.
I don't think you're supposed to put stuff in ibi_html; definitely not in the javaassist directory. Put it in your application folder instead. If you're using the deploy mechanism in Dev Studio, deploy it to your web-server - not along with your focus procedures to the WebFOCUS server. That probably won't work (unless it was configured to).
Still, your style-sheet should have worked if you put it in ibi_html. You can test whether your style-sheet can be found by opening the URL directly in a browser: http://your-web-server/ibi_htm...aassist/css_file.css
(IE will ask you what application to open it in, proper browsers will recognize the mime-type and display the contents)
