We recently upgraded from 8.1.05M to 8.2.03. We have fex reports on EDASERVE that have been running for a while. I wanted to create a new schedule for one of these, but WebFOCUS won't let me? I opened the legacy home page and right clicked on the fex, but Schedule is not an option on the pop-up menu. If I click to create a new Schedule from the new Home page, I can't get to the EDASERVE to select the fex. Anything that was scheduled prior to the upgrade is still running fine.
Do I have to move my existing fex files to the new domain if I want to schedule them? Or am I missing something?
Thanks, DebThis message has been edited. Last edited by: DWaybright,

I pinged the product manager but he is out until Feb 4th. I don't see the ability to schedule on my system either and I'm an administrator. You might open a case with techsupport on this.
Thank you for using Focal Point!

Thanks, Chuck, I think I will open that case, as I am an administrator, too, so expected I should be able to create schedules (Effective Policy seems to think I can, too).

Wow - quick turnaround on opening a case!!! Here's how to schedule for an EDASERVE fex (it worked for me! ): Hello Debra, Scheduling a EDASERVE report is a little subtle. Can you see if these steps work for you. 1. Login to WebFOCUS, locate the repository folder you want to save the schedule in. 2. Right click, on the folder, new schedule. 3. When the scheduling tool opens, select tasks. 4. Then, notice the New button, that has a some dropdown options on the right side of New, click the dropdown option. 5. Select "WebFOCUS server procedure". 6. Then you should be able to click the BROWSE button and navigate to a folder that has your procedure. Can you see if you can schedule a EDASERVE procedure from the above steps. (schedules have to be made in the repository, but they can reference a SERVER path) Regards, John.
