I guess this topic was opened before but I am curious if anyone has found a solution for this.
This is regarding chaining of dropdowns in 7.6.4.When 2 or more drop downs are chained caching is enabled. When we check the code it says cacheruntimedata="1" for those comboboxes. This used to work fine & fast in previous versions but it gives error in 7.6.4. When I make that "1" to "0" it works but very very slow.
Do anyone have any suggestions or solutions for this? Any ideas on chaining techniques rather than using this chaining in dev studio?

1) You're correct in guessing that this topic was opened before. 2) The slowness, I believe, is baed on the non-cahching of the comboboxes / refreshing them with new data. 3) There's nothing better, imho, the the chaing provided in WebFOCUS (when it's working properly).
I have found that most chainging issues I have come across were due to operator error (AKA: Me).
