Does anyone know if you can "replace" the mouseover URL text that you see in Excel when you hover over a drilldown? My user would like to see somthing like the description of the drilldown as opposed to all the parameters.
I should also add that this is coded as a multi drill, which of course only works in HTML, but at least allows drilling to the top report in Excel.

Marie, For what you need to do you must use EXL2K TEMPLATE
Using a macro you can assign custom tips to the hyperlinks
here's an example
create an excel template file and and add the following macro code
Public Sub Auto_open()
Dim nm As Name
Dim Row As Long
Dim LastRow As Long
Dim Country As String
On Error Resume Next
Set nm = ThisWorkbook.Names("myflag")
If Not nm Is Nothing Then
Exit Sub
End If
ThisWorkbook.Names.Add Name:="myflag", RefersTo:="=1", Visible:=False
ActiveWorkbook.Sheets("Sheet1").Activate
LastRow = Cells(Rows.Count, 1).End(xlUp).Row
For Row = 2 To LastRow Step 1
If Row <= LastRow Then
Range(Cells(Row, 1), Cells(Row, 1)).Select
Country = Cells(Row, 1).Value
Selection.Hyperlinks(1).ScreenTip = "Details for country " & Country
Else
Exit Sub
End If
Next Row
End Sub
The focexec to go with it looks like this
TABLE FILE CAR SUM DEALER_COST RETAIL_COST BY COUNTRY ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K TEMPLATE custom_tip SHEETNUMBER 1 ON TABLE SET STYLE * PAGESIZE='Letter', LEFTMARGIN=0.000000, RIGHTMARGIN=0.000000, TOPMARGIN=0.000000, BOTTOMMARGIN=0.000000, SQUEEZE=ON, ORIENTATION=PORTRAIT, $ TYPE=REPORT, GRID=OFF, FONT='TIMES NEW ROMAN', SIZE=10, $ TYPE=DATA,COLUMN=N1, FOCEXEC=CARINST(COUNTRY=COUNTRY), $ ENDSTYLE ENDThis message has been edited.
