Is it possible to Rename the Schedule ID in Report Caster? If so, how (or where do I find this info)?
It's not in the manual "

Hi,

I dont think you can rename the scheduleid in RC...it is randomly generated when you create the schedule...only way I could think is to change that in the BOTSCHED table but then there are a lot of dependencies in other BOT tables like BOTPARMS BOTTASK among others....

Recreating the schedule would the best option..

Doug, I checked with our internals and here is the feedback: Answer is 'no'.
The id is dynamically generated and used as a key across several relational tables.
Changing the value in one table will break the relationships across the other tables.
Even if you successfully changed all the connected tables, by changing the naming convention, you might affect the sorting used by caster to prioritize and manage the schedules and jobs.
