I have created a WF8 portal in my production environment. Using the CM Export/Import utility, I created the same portal in my WF8 test environment. Recently, I deleted the portal in test and tried to import a new version from production. This has always worked in the past. Now I am receiving the following error, 'Error saving view: 10002'. So, I took it one step further and tried creating a new portal using the exact same name, just to see what happens. When trying to save this, just a new portal with one small update to the layout, an error occurs, 'Saving cannot be . . . Error saving view:'. I have no problem creating a new portal with a different name. But I need to use the same name and really need to import the one from production. It seems like the portal name is still 'lingering' somewhere in WebFOCUS. Is there a file some place on the server that can be modified to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance. This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Kathryn Henning>,
Make sure there isn't a single quote in one of your portal names.. This is a known bug that will cause all kinds of issues. You can create them with single quotes, but the product doesn't support the single quotes.
