I am currently migrating an Application from Webfocus 7 to Webfocus 8, We have 3 Buttons on the Launch page apart from dates and Formats filter: 1.Submit 2.reset 3.Schedule (Schedule Request)
What's happening is, in WF8 Schedule button is only Visible to AppAdmin, Developer roles and not available for Basic and Advanced User.
However in WF7 Schedule Button used to disappear from HTML for Standard User and Remains Visible for Analytical User.
The QC team has tested the reports week back and the Schedule button used to be remain visible for Advanced User Role.
We have raised this with the Admins with no luck. Could you please advise? This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Emily McAllister>,

Hello iBeny, Scheduling is its own privilege in WF8. You can create a Role (or modify an existing one) that permits scheduling reports. To do this: 1. Open the Security Center and go to Roles. 2. Create a new role or edit an existing one. 3. In the Available Privileges there is a category for Scheduling and Distribution. Check the desired privileges you want, save the role, and exit the Security Center. 4. Right-click on the Domain(s) you want this to apply to, or if you want this to apply to all domains, right-click the Content Tree. Select Security -> Rules. 5. Select the group you want to apply this to, then in Rules for Group, set the Role you created to Permitted.
For more information on how to set up rules in WebFOCUS 8, please see our Security and Administration Manual. Note that you must be logged on to Tech Support in order to view the manual.
