In WF 7, http://server-name/ibi_apps/ gets us to a home page with links to many aspects of WF, including “Run a stored procedure” and “Run an ad hoc procedure”.
In WF 8, http://server-name/ibi_apps/ gets us to a login page and then to what looks like Portal or BID. There does not appear to be a “home page” or any way to run ad hoc code.
Any ideas? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Francis Mariani,

Give me code, or give me retirement. In FOCUS since 1991
Production: WF 7.7.05M, Dev Studio, BID, MRE, WebSphere, DB2 / Test: WF 8.1.05M, App Studio, BI Portal, Report Caster, jQuery, HighCharts, Apache Tomcat, MS SQL Server
The Administration Console link gets me to the client admin console. I was hoping for the general home page, like this - lots of valuable links (some non-admin):

Hi Francis, Nope, those are gone... 8 is geared to BI, and, App Studio is geared toward GUI, so, everyone becomes a DBA and aggregates data. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Tom Flynn,
I find that "Caution" regarding ad hoc reporting completely ridiculous. It indirectly suggests that with the GUI, "a careless user" would not be able to build "a request which uses so many resources that response time is adversely affected for all users"!

Francis, If you want a tool that has most of the tools consolidated in one place, you can just use dev/app studio. There are buttons that point to most of the pages you will need.
