What I am trying to do is to use a a subtotal for the field like "customer#" and find the total sales for each customer and then find the total sales for each department... I would then like to have the report show the subtotals for each department ex dairy meat ext. Under the subtotals for each department I would like to show the percentage each department makes up out of the total sales for the customer #
Ex.
subtotal 1 by department Dairy 20%
meat 17%
a 13%
b 15%
c 35% Subtotal 2 by customer# Customer Num Total Sales 100
there would also be many other columns showing details about each Item but I would just like to know how to calculate the percentage each department contributes to the total amount of sales for the cust#

Hi there - I'm here at the Solutions Pavilion with FranDutch and Prairie who have an answer to your question!! We're having a great time at Summit too.
multiverb is the way to find the solution
or first put the data in a hold file and do the calculations on the hold
I hope this helps you a bit
