Is it possible to include a username/password in a query string when launching a Managed Reporting FEX from another server? We do the same thing in Crystal Reports/Business Objects, but I am wanting to do something similar in WebFOCUS.
I get the following whenever I try to run any combination of the above:
Error Number 19402
Severity Error
Description Illegal request attempt.
Possible causes Your session has expired or been invalidated.

A, front-end fexes are pretty much designed to require that you be logged in to mre, unless your security is totally turned off. If you put your fexes on the backend (that means in the apps directories), then you can launch them from anywhere you want... but passing login credentials to an mre fex via a url is not something i've ever seen. Pretty much designed to protect against such things.

is a BID servlet that requires you to already be logged in and errors if not. Use a drill down style call that uses WFServlet Can't post the details off the top of my head... just build a drill down to an MR fex, run the main report and see what you have. But remember that if you do NOT see the MR_Domain in the drilldown to add it (if it is not on the URL, it uses the last one you used from your cookie - since there is no cookie here, you need to be explicit).

Brian, I forgot all about that. I robbed the URL syntax from the Dashboard launched fex (right-click, copy/paste the address bar). I forgot that the time I did something kind of similar before, I used drill-down (that or I didn't connect the dots).
