Where do I have to store the Holiday file (HDAYxxx) inorder to access it from a fex file? I was trying to look at the Webfocus documentation, could not find in any document. I am using WEbfocus 5.2.1 on Win2k.
I have created the file HDAYFX12.ERR in c:\ibi\srv52\wfs\ibi\bin folder.
The HDAYFX12.ERR has 20030101 NewYear Day 20030526 Memorial Day 20030704 independence Day 20030901 Labor Day 20031127 Thanks Giving Day 20031225 Christmas Day 20040101 NewYear Day 20040531 Memorial Day 20040704 independence Day 20040906 Labor Day 20041125 Thanks Giving Day 20041225 Christmas Day
SET HDAY = FX12 TABLE FILE CAR COMPUTE DTDIFF/D12.2 = DATEDIF(20031220, 20031231, 'BD'); END I am getting 0 for DTDIFF. Any Idea why it is not doing proper? Thanks, kj
It seems that DATEDIF function with 'BD' unit, needs smart date formats, not integer values.
SET HDAY = FX12 SET BUSDAYS = _MTWTF_ -RUN
TABLE FILE CAR PRINT COUNTRY COMPUTE DAT1/YYMD = 20031220 ; COMPUTE DAT2/YYMD = 20031231 ; COMPUTE DTDIFF/I2 = DATEDIF(DAT1, DAT2, 'BD'); END With your holiday file, we get:
COUNTRY DAT1 DAT2 DTDIFF ------- ---------- ---------- ------ ENGLAND 2003/12/20 2003/12/31 6 ... Regards, MikelThis message has been edited. Last edited by: <Mabel>,
