The only update on the release of WebFocus 7.7 that I have seen is 2008. Does any know of an update on the schedule for release of WebFocus 7.7?This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
WebFocus 7.7.02, Oracle 11g, Windows Server 2008R2, Excel
You will be able to use 11g with 7.1.3 providing that the WebFocus server accesses it via a 10g Oracle client.
It is not uncommon for sites to use an earlier client release than the DB release.
What it means from a practical view point is that the WF adapter may not be able to use the latest features and optimizations in the newer DB but that should not be an issue as I doubt that you will be doing any radical database redesign in the short term.
