We have migrated the webfocus from 716 to 775. everything works fine except the console write erroe issue. Always the below error is populating when i am trying to save any reports in the console through MRE. the report is getting saved after 2 clicks. still the error message is populating.
The command is "APP ENABLE", but it's a very old command that I don't think is necessary any more. It used to be in edasprof.prf.
Go to WebFOCUS Reporting Server Console > Workspace > Configuration Files > Server Profile (edasprof.prf) If the command is incorrectly coded as "APPENABLE", correct or remove it.
If the command is not here, it may be in some other configuration file or the error is triggering a misleading message.

Rakesh, we got an answer from IBI, and it worked. You edit the ibiapplets.txt and change line 1309 from -*** APPENABLE to *APPENABLE and then you do the same to -*** APPDISABLE a few lines down. of course, you stop tomcat and then restart it after the fix. works great.
... of course this solution ISN"T posted along with the problem on their tech support site, only says 'workaround: none'. [really guys?]
