Is there a way to display the name of the country on the subject line using edamail ?

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT COUNTRY
WHERE COUNTRY EQ 'JAPAN' ;
ON TABLE PCHOLD AS MAIL_FILE FORMAT PDF
END

Yes, but you'll have to READ it into a DM variable first. If you need other terminology (other than just the field value), use a define to concatenate it first.
