Hi, We recently bought IBI tool(WebFocus 7.6.9) We are using CVS for soure control. Is there a way to integrate CVS with Webfocus 7.6.9?? If integration is not possible, what is the best method of making Webfocus fex, master files, launch pages, dashboards Source controlled??
Thanks, DD Thanks, DDThis message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

A small search on the IB search page learned the following:
quote:
Developer Studio supports any source control system that conforms to the Microsoft SCC API. CVS does not conform, but you can get a plugin for it at: http://www.jalindi.com/igloo/ The dll files at this location enable Developer Studio to work with CVS.
I have not visited this site and have not tried to download anything. The information on the search result page is from 2002, so it may very well be that something has changed on the jalindi site since then.
Hope this helps a bit ...

We have been using SVN with a plugin that does not conform to Microsoft SCC API. Any plugin that I found (PushOK, TamTam) with SVN did not play well with Developer Studio.
We had to incorporate a manual process, so developers have to checkout the .fex externally from Developer Studio, then copy it into DS and copy it back to check it back into the SVN repository. Not the best solution, but it does work.
If anyone else knows any better plugins that will work with Developer Studio and SVN, please let me know.
