I would define a complex filter on a listbox parameter in HTML Composer.
I'm obviously having issues making that work. I've been unable to find the answer from in-line, help, or PDF documentation.
In SQL I'd code something like this
where school = 'Open'
and ((region in (1,2,3,4,5) or ((region = 6 and school = 999)))
In HTML Composer I've tried
WHERE DTBL_SCHOOLS.DTBL_SCHOOLS.SCHOOL_STATUS EQ 'Open'
AND (( DTBL_SCHOOLS.DTBL_SCHOOLS.SCHOOL_TYPE EQ 'Region 1' OR 'Region 2' OR 'Region 3' OR 'Region 4' OR 'Region 5' ) OR ( DTBL_SCHOOLS.DTBL_SCHOOLS.SCHOOL_TYPE EQ 'Administrative' ) AND ( DTBL_SCHOOLS.DTBL_SCHOOLS.SCHOOL_CODE EQ '731' ))
and
WHERE DTBL_SCHOOLS.DTBL_SCHOOLS.SCHOOL_STATUS EQ 'Open'
where (( DTBL_SCHOOLS.DTBL_SCHOOLS.SCHOOL_TYPE EQ 'Region 1' OR 'Region 2' OR 'Region 3' OR 'Region 4' OR 'Region 5' ) OR ( DTBL_SCHOOLS.DTBL_SCHOOLS.SCHOOL_TYPE EQ 'Administrative' ) AND ( DTBL_SCHOOLS.DTBL_SCHOOLS.SCHOOL_CODE EQ '731' ))
Neither work. What am I doing wrong? More importantly can someone point me to documentation so I can self-educate.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

I checked with our internals and here is the response: we are not sure what the problem might be, since you did not mention if you are getting any errors or not. With any kind of debugging, you should probably try getting data one field at a time to help narrow down the issue; then please open a case with Customer Support Services to work on this issue. You may either call at 1-800-736-6130, or access online at InfoResponse.
Cheers,
Kerry
