I've been away from WebFOCUS development for nearly a year and I'm struggling to remember how to CONVERT &YYMD DATE TO AN ALPHA STRING?

-SET &2DAY = &YYMD;

I've looked through FOCALPOINT for some time and I'm empty handed.

In Dialogue Manager you only work with alpha strings, though some may look and behave like numeric strings.

It depends on what you want to do with the string.

I may get chastised for using an old-fogey method, but this works:

-SET &2DAY = EDIT(&YYMD, '9999-99-99');
-TYPE &2DAY
