Hello - we have been provided a document from the business area and have it in two formats: .pdf and .docx. We have a compound PDF created and need to insert the document provided by the business area into the WebFOCUS compound PDF. (It is a disclosure statement that needs to be the last page of the PDF.) Is there a way to insert the document provided by our business partners into the compound PDF? We have not been able to figure out how to do this and I am thinking it isn't possible. For a solution the only thing we can come up with is retyping the text either into the compound document or into a fex. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!!!This message has been edited. Last edited by: FP Mod Chuck,
When a compound PDF is generated, there is an intermediate stage where all parts are created, this format is not really PDF, and as such an externally created PDF cannot be added.
Another option may be to use an external utility to add the page, like PDFBox.
